Evolution, a leading online gaming company, has announced plans to discontinue a number of online casino games from its portfolio. The company cited insufficient commercial success and minimal player engagement as the primary motivation behind this decision. This action is scheduled to take place later this month.

Evolution's decision affects games from both the NetEnt and Red Tiger brands, which are subsidiaries operating under Evolution's Random Number Generator (RNG) division.

Games Scheduled for Decommissioning

On 28 May, at 10am CET, a range of games from NetEnt and Red Tiger will be decommissioned across all platforms and market environments. The list of NetEnt games set for removal includes titles such as Happy Panda, Sparks, Swipe and Roll, Moonshine Riches, and Gold Money Frog. Additional games like Fire Siege Fortress, Pirate From the East, Witchcraft Academy, Twin Spin Deluxe, Copy Cats, Wonderland Protector, Magic Portals, Spellcast, and Bollywood Story will also be taken offline.

Furthermore, the Red Tiger game Steam Squad will be discontinued as well. Evolution has assured that support for things like round closures and associated assistance will continue even after the games go offline.

Strategic Adjustment for Evolution's Game Portfolio

The decommissioning decision follows feedback indicating "poor performance and low player count" for these titles. The removal will affect all versions of these games, regardless of the configuration or Return-To-Player (RTP) setups. Operators have been informed and instructed to remove any associated promotional materials and game thumbnails ahead of the cut-off date.

Several of these games had been part of NetEnt's offerings for a considerable time, featuring a mix of mainstream and niche themes. Although older, games like Twin Spin Deluxe and Copy Cats were a part of the broader NetEnt catalogue.

Evolution's move is reflective of a broader industry trend where suppliers streamline their offerings by retiring less successful games to prioritize fresh content and more dynamic releases. For any operational queries related to this transition, partners are advised to contact Evolution RNG Operations through the designated support channel.
