The Forro online slot is loosely based on the Zorro series, but they didn't use the same name for obvious reasons. Fugaso did a solid job with the graphics in this title, and you'll find a number of different characters on the reels with a town scene in the background. This background scene has ringing church bells, a flowing fountain, butterflies hanging out on some plants and a woman watering her window garden. It's a great-looking game with a fun style of gameplay as well.
Game Format
The first thing you need to understand about this game is that the format is a bit different. You'll normally have five reels, three rows and 10 paylines. However, there's an option for an extra bet that will activate a sixth reel. Activating this sixth reel will double the size of your bet per spin, but it's completely and totally worth it as it boosts the RTP of the slot as a whole, which means better payouts on average as a percentage of the total amount you wager over the course of your session.
Betting starts from $0.02 per payline for $0.20 per spin, but that doubles to a minimum of $0.40 per turn with the sixth payline activated. You can play with less than the maximum of 10 paylines, and you can play without the sixth reel activated, but each of these will decrease your RTP, and we strongly suggest against doing that. With the extra reel activated, the maximum bet is $100 per turn as well. For the purposes of the wins we're going to talk about, everything will be multiplied by your total bet.
Forro Scatter Symbol
The Forro symbol is very important to the overall gameplay in this slot. You'll find that it's a scatter that offers some pretty significant payouts. Six of a kind will earn 2000x, and that's one of the larger wins you can get in this game. Five of a kind is worth 100x, and you'll get 10x for four. Three of a kind of this symbol gets you a 1x payout. All of these are multiplied by your total bet, but what's so cool about this symbol is that it pays out no matter where they land on the reels.
Wild Symbol
Forro is also the wild symbol in this slot. It's really critical then for him to show up as much as possible, and a lot of the success of any individual session of this game will depend on how often and where exactly he appears. Overview
The Forro slot is obviously a play on the Zorro name, but Fugaso has used it really well to create a game that centers completely around the main character. It's a smart way to do it, and by incorporating so many important parts of the game into one symbol with six reels (thanks to the extra bet), players get a more intense experience than what most games in the genre provide.
Overall, the volatility is pretty high because of this, but it's worth it in general because, even with the double bet for the sixth reel, there are plenty of small bet sizes to pick from to help smooth out a lot of the variance. We like what they've done with this game, but we would have liked to see a wider range of features.
