About Vulcan
RTG new Vulcan slot game isn’t based upon the fictional Vulcan race in Star Trek, but rather the god of fire and forge – Vulcan. The mythology of Vulcan comes from ancient roman history, who also believed his Greek counterpart was Hephaestus.
The Vulcan slot game looks like it is taking place inside a fiery volcano. The graphics in the game are exceptional and include; Vulcan, the Goddess Venus (Vulcan’s Wife), Clams, Chariots, Foundry Equipment (Hammers etc), Volcanoes, Temples and the normal Letter and Numbers, which look like they have been forged out of glowing hot metal.
Betting Options
To work out you total bet, you need to select how many of the 25 pay lines you would like to use on each spin, and then multiply this amount by your coin size. Players can select a variety of coin sizes between $0.01 and $5, which means that you can spend between $0.01 and $125 on each spin.
Slot Features
Vulcan is the games stacked wild symbol. Like a normal wild symbol he can stand in for the majority of the other symbols in the game, excluding the Volcano symbol. The Vulcan symbol will only make an appearance on the 2nd and 4th reels during the base game; however, in the free spins bonus round he can appear on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th reels.
If you get lucky and manage to make up a winning pay line with the wild symbol, then your winnings will also be automatically tripled.
The video slot game also features a ‘Fire of the Gods’ feature, which can be triggered by getting 3 or more Volcano symbols ANYWHERE on screen. This feature will reward you with 15 free spins on the game, during which all your winnings will be doubled. You can re-trigger the feature up to 3 times during your free spins; however, instead of receiving an additional 15 free spins each time, you will win 5. This may lead you to think that you are getting the pointy end of the stick; however, each time the feature is retriggered the multiplier will increase for any spins you have left. These aren’t any multipliers to be sniffed at either, as they are set at 3x, 30x and 300x your winnings.
Vulcan also features RTG’s Feature Guarantee, which ensures that the Fire of the Gods feature is triggered between 26 and 250 spins. If the free spins feature is triggered by the Feature Guarantee, then the re-trigger multipliers of 3x, 30x and 300x will be bumped up to 5x, 50x and 500x. Please note that all pay lines have to active, and that you also have to have made an additional wager of 10 x the pay line bet to play with the Feature Guarantee.
