The graphics for this dragon-filled game are solid, but not necessarily top-tier, and the gameplay is great all around. Slot Format
The format of a game has a lot to do with what the gameplay itself is like in the online slot world, and with this title, you'll see the connection in a major way. This slot uses five reels and three rows, which is normal enough, but there is an overwhelming 50 paylines. This means you have 50 ways to win on each spin, and this drives a lot of the features that you'll see below by making them much more valuable than they would be if they were used with a game that had fewer lines.
Betting is based around choosing a number of coins per line and a size for those coins. The range for the number of coins goes from one to 10, so the minimum is 50 coins with all paylines activated (which they should be) and 500 at the maximum end. Coin sizes go from $0.01 to $0.25, giving this title an overall betting range of $0.50 to $125 per spin.
Free Spins and the Wild Symbol
The free spins bonus feature actually has two stages in this game, and it plays off of the wild symbol. The wild in this game is the dragon, and it always expands whenever it will create new line bet winning combination (ie: non-scatter pays). The wilds typically only appear on the first and second reels. However, whenever you're in the free spins feature, they will also show up on the third reel as well. Additionally, you can get a 2x multiplier with any win that uses at least one wild, so that obviously packs a lot of value.
You trigger these free spins with the golden axe symbol. You can earn up to 50 free spins for three or more of this scatter anywhere on the reels. However, during the free spins, you'll get platinum axes on the screen instead, and three or more gives you chances to earn spins in a super round.
During the super round, the dragon is added to the fourth reel also. The multiplier for wins that include at least one wild also increases, and it goes up to 3x. This is where the biggest wins in the game can be had, and it's cool that Rival included multiple stages in this slot bonus feature.
Major Payout Levels
The wild symbols don't get their own payouts, so the largest normal win is 600x for five of the purple potion. There is also a golden cup symbol, and five of that lands you a 500x payout. Scoring 400x for five of the blonde princess will be a pretty reasonable win, but it's the red-headed man who is the best paying symbol of the knights with a 300x prize. The blonde knight is down below with 160x for five, and five of the black-haired knight is worth a very solid payout of 120x.
Minor Payouts
This game has a lot of symbols, and although many of them are very solid graphics from Rival Gaming, they also use card rank symbol for their low-tier pays. Five of the A or K will earn you a 100x win, which is still a pretty solid payout. You can also pick up five of the Q symbol to score 80x, and five of the J earns a 50x win. Prizes of 40x and 20x are available for five of a kind in the 10 and 9 symbols, respectively. The font created for these symbols combined with their color scheme blends in with the visual motif of the game really well.

This is a very solid video slot by Rival Gaming, and it centers around giving players a ton of action. The dragon-based theme is perfect for this style of gameplay, so everything comes together in a strong way. Our only complaint about this slot is that there are so many symbols that it can be tricky to keep up with it all, but that's a minor issue in the grand scheme of things.
