KISS™ Slot Review

KISS™ is a 10 reel, 100 pay line video slot game by WMS. This isn’t any normal slot game though, as it consists of two different sets of reels. The main reel set consists of 5 reels with 4 symbols on each reel, and the second reel set also has 5 reels; however, this time with a staggering 12 symbols on each reel. Both sets of reels spin at the same time.

About KISS™

The KISS™ slot game is themed around the American rock band of the same name. The game features symbols of Demon (Gene Simmons), Starchild (Paul Stanley), Spaceman/Space Ace (Ace Frehley), Catman (Peter Criss), Guitars, KISS™ Army Badges and some shiny looking Number and Letter symbols.

KISS™ fans will be happy that they get to listen to some of their hit songs as they spin the reels. We also loved that a guitar solo played each time we picked up a win. The larger the win, the longer and more impressive the guitar solo is.

Betting Options

Players can choose to play with 20, 40, 60, 80 or 100 pay lines; however, WMS only requires you to pay for 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 lines. Why? As they give you two pay lines for the price of one! When you take into consideration that you can place between £0.01 and £5 on each of the lines, it means you can spend from £0.10 up to £250 on each spin.

Slot Features

KISS™ were loved for their elaborate live performance that often included; shooting rockets, fire breathing, smoking guitars and impressive pyrotechnics. We are pleased to report that the features in the KISS™ slot game also do the band proud.

The games Wild symbol is the symbol of all four band members in their stage makeup. This symbol can stand in for other symbols in the game, excluding the KISS™ Logo. If you get lucky and manage to bring up 4 stacked Wild symbols on any of the main reels, then they will transfer across onto the corresponding Colossal Reel (the second set of reels). For example: If 4 stacked Wilds appear on the 1st main reel, then the entire 1st Colossal Reel will also be turned wild.

The game also has a very impressive free spin feature, which can be triggered by getting 3, 4 or 5 of the KISS™ Logo symbols anywhere on the games 10 reels.

3 Scattered Symbols will reward 8 free spins and a multiplier of 2x your total bet.
4 Scattered symbols will reward12 free spins and a multiplier of 5 x your total bet.
5 Scattered symbols will reward 20 free spins and a multiplier of 20 x your total bet.

Before and after each free spin bonus round, you will get to watch some video clips of KISS™ performing live in concert. During the free spins round, if one or more stacked wild symbol appears on the main reel set, then they will automatically expand across the whole reel and then transfer across to the corresponding colossal reel.
