Game of Thrones – 15 Lines Slot Review
This review is for the five reels and fifteen pay lines version of the Game of Thrones online slot game. It features; Stacked Wilds, a Free Spin round where you can select from four different options, a Scatter symbol, Multipliers and a Gamble feature.
Back in February 2014, Microgaming signed a licensing deal with HBO to develop a game based upon their hit television series, Game of Thrones. Fans of the book series and show alike have been waiting with baited breath for the game to arrive, and nine months later it has finally been revealed to the world.
The game takes place in Westeros, and you can clearly see the swords of the Iron Throne surrounding the games reels. Fans of the show will notice that the games symbols consist of the different Noble Houses Crests, as well as the Iron Throne and some Letter and Number symbols.
We were also pleased to see that the game features the shows iconic theme music.
Betting Options
You have to play with all fifteen pay lines in the game; however, you are given the option to amend both the coin size and the number of coins you place on each of the fifteen lines. Coin sizes range from $0.01 to $0.10, and you can place up to ten coins on each line. This gives you the option to bet between $0.15 and $15 per spin.
Features
The Wild symbol is the Game of Thrones Logo. It appears stacked on the reels, which means you can often have more than one symbol on a reel at the same time. The Wild symbol can replace all of the other symbols in the game, excluding the Scatter.
After any win on the game, you will be given the option to gamble your winnings by guessing the outcome of a coin flip. If you guess correctly, your winnings will be doubled, and you will get to travel to a different location on the trail map. Each of the four locations has a different short video clip taken from the show.
The Iron Throne is the Scatter symbol. Two of these symbols will pay out a random prize. However, if you manage to bring up three, four or five Scattered Iron Throne symbols on the screen at the same time, then you will trigger the games free spins round.
Before the free spin round starts, you will be able to select from the below four different free spin rounds;
•Targaryen awards 18 free spins, during which any winnings will be doubled. The Targaryen symbol will also appear stacked six symbols high.
•Stark awards 14 free spins, during which any winnings will be tripled. The Stark symbol will appear stacked five symbols high as it spins around the reels.
•Lannister awards ten free spins, during which any winnings you pick up will be quadrupled. The Lannister symbol appears stacked four symbols high on the reels.
