Game Format
The layout of this slot uses five reels and three rows, and you'll have 243 ways to win on each spin. This works because all regular symbols are left-to-right scatters that pay based on showing up on consecutive reels. Three Jelly Modes

These three modes are red, yellow and green, and they dictate how the gameplay works for the features. Green Jelly Mode
With the green jelly mode, you'll see two green jelly squares in the background of the second and fourth reel. We have to give it to Habanero Systems for not taking the easy way out with generic symbols like the card ranks that we see super often in video slots. Every single symbol looks like a ton of work was put into it, and that's something that we would definitely like to see more of from other companies.
Our Thoughts
First off, this game has a much different look than just about any other slot we've ever seen. The Cake Valley slot's symbol set is very rich and colorful with 3D graphics. It can be a little difficult to see which symbols show up where because there are no marked reels, and the symbols run into the background a bit, but it's not a major issue.
On the gameplay side, the three jelly modes is a way of handling bonus features that we've never seen before, and the free spins modes get extra value in ways we've never seen before as well. That makes it stand out from a gameplay perspective, and we think that it's an approach that a lot of players will like.
