In Chinese mythology, you'll find a ton of different figures with interesting stories that may or may not make total sense. Format and Layout
To promote a high hit-rate in this game, it uses five reels and three rows with the 243-ways/all-ways layout. The way this layout works is that you get winning combinations by lining up matching symbols from left to right on the reels, even if they don't line up in any particular way. Instead of using paylines, as long as the symbols are on the reels from left to right, they can be used to make winning combinations. Scatter Symbol Payouts and Free Spins
In a game where every normal symbol is a left-to-right scatter, the symbol labeled "scatter" in purple letters is a regular scatter symbol that pays no matter where on the reels it is located. This means you can win a 1,900x win for five of a kind anywhere on the reels along with a 380x payout for four of a kind along the same lines. Three of the gold and red scatter with purple letters anywhere on the game board pays out a solid 190x, and it's worth pointing out that these wins are worth more than they seem because it's so easy to hit them.

Our Thoughts
With Pragmatic Play's Cashien's Gold slot, they've brought to life a story from Chinese mythology based on a theme that's very relevant to what online slot fans are looking for: the god of wealth. There are some great features in this game, and while the graphics are about average, the gameplay is fast-paced and very solid overall. We think that the static jackpots idea is pretty interesting, and we can't remember seeing this type of presentation for it in any other online slot before, but we do wish the lowest payouts were a bit higher than 25x in the regular game mode.
